In uTorrent you can change the gui.update rate to 30000, once per 30 seconds, and it is sluggish though functional but qBit just starts whitescreening for long periods when active with 4k torrents in it in windows (you can change settings to try to mitigate this in qBit but it will have knock on effects, usually slower speed or crashes especially when adding torrents). If this is windows there is no way you are getting 4k torrents running stable on qBit 4.4.x while having a fully functional client.
